Chapter Five - Damek Meets the Master
It was easy to lose track of any sequence of events within the Garden. It was a place of utter and total fulfillment. Everything there was for the benefit of Damek and Damek also was for the benefit of everything else. He saw no other living thing except the woman who he kept within view. As he rested in the shade during the heat of the day, she was there in his mind as clear as when he saw her laughing and splashing in the brook. He contemplated walking up to her but something held him back. It was not yet time.
The new Master was enjoying himself immensely. The woman, Nevaeh, was a joy to his heart and he felt toward her as he knew a father would feel toward a beloved daughter. Although he never experienced this fatherhood himself, he knew there were many fathers, mothers and children in the earth plane. In his learning and studies, he had remotely viewed many families and knew the troubles and joys they lived daily. He was well versed in all
the areas of physical life as well he should be since he was to guide Damek and Nevaeh for many, many years to come. This was his first assignment and he was excited, proud and a little apprehensive, hoping he would not make mistakes.
It was now time for him to meet with Damek and make himself known as his new Master. He was somewhat worried that Damek would not accept him, knowing how much he loved the Master of Azure. Everything about Damek was known to the new Master, like an open book of many pages, but not too many as Damek was a fairly new son. This was Damek's first experience into the (higher) mystical earth planes where he would be separated from his female essence from within, who was now Nevaeh. The task of the Master of Azure was to put new Guardian Masters with new sons and daughters and let them learn together for a timeless sojourn in the Garden to be tested before moving on.
The new Master didn’t know if Damek and Nevaeh would pass their test and be able to avoid a life in the lower Earth realm, even the Master of Azure didn’t know that. The Creator was very serious about free will and each Master had to prove himself many times over in relation to it. Never were they to meddle in the lives of anyone with the idea to control outcomes. In fact, that was the differing point between them and those who used the power for dark purposes. While the Dark Masters manipulated through deceitful practices, forcing their will on people, the Masters of the Light lovingly guided and tested those assigned to them. Maybe their trials and tests were hard and painful at times but it was always as a result of their own choices. The people of the Earth planes called it karma.
The new Master saw Damek resting under the shade of a sprawling oak. He also saw in Damek’s mind that he was envisioning Nevaeh and imagining taking her hand as they walked through the trees together.
“This is good.” He thought, “He will know instinctively how to relate to Nevaeh. She will already sense him and know also how to relate.”
The new Master smiled to himself, “ah …this will be easy. However, he did not know what was before him. A Task for Damek
