Chapter Six - A Task for Damek

Hello Damek.” Damek, startled, saw the new Master standing before him. “Who are you?”, he spoke before he thought. “I am your new Master sent by the Master of Azure. I will guide you and Nevaeh throughout your time in the physical realms. I would be pleased to share any knowledge you so desire to have or feel you have need of before you proceed further.” “Oh.” Damek was stunned. He didn’t want to think of losing his Master and having this young master instead. The new Master smiled sympathetically. “I understand how you love the Master. I too honor and love him beyond description. However, it is time for new things and we must accept them and let go of what is over. The Master will always be with us, only in a higher dimension and he will always send his powerful energy as we have need.”

Damek let the new Master's words sink in, then he remembered something else that was spoken. A name …Nevaeh. “Who is Nevaeh?” The name was soft and gentle on his tongue and saying it excited him in a strange way. “Nevaeh is your wife. She is the woman you have been watching and dreaming about.” The new Master smiled and before Damek could reply, he continued, “…but before you meet her, you have a task given you by the Creator. It is now time for you to fulfill that task, then you will meet Nevaeh.”

“A task?” Damek was again surprised. “Look! I will show you.” The young Master beckoned Damek to get up and follow him. They walked for a distance, until the garden became more profuse with vegetation, taller trees and a large river appeared before them. “Now I will show you some wonderful things.” Damek stared in the direction the Master pointed. There was a strange creature he had never seen in any of his learning and travels.

“What is it Master?” In his amazement he didn’t realize he had acknowledged the young Master by calling him, “Master”. Knowing that and smiling again, the Master said, “It is a beautiful creature called an “animal” in the physical world. You encountered different kinds of them in your travels from Azure but these are the varities found only on Earth. There are many different creatures here and your task is to name them all. There are ones that swim in the waters, some that fly in the air, some crawl upon the ground and many live under the ground. They are all waiting for you to give them names.”

“What! How do I do that?” Damek looked incredulous. “Simply speak to them, share their mind with yours and you will “know” their qualities, then you will name them and they will be under your care and supervision. If you love them and honor them, they will always respond in like manner to you. They are a gift to you from the Creator as you are a gift to them and they will be with you throughout your journeys in the physical dimensions. “ Damek slowly moved toward the strange creature staring at him from the river bank. It was different than any creature he had ever seen in the Azure dimensions. Its beautiful golden and brown fur shone in the brilliant sun of the Garden and it stood grandly on four muscled legs. As Damek approached, it never moved an inch but two deep, dark eyes probed deeply into Damek’s soft, brown ones. Damek reached out and laid his hand upon the head of the beast, then after a moment, turned to look at the Master and spoke,

“I will call him, …Lion.” The Master nodded in approval. “That is a very good name for him. You will do well at your task, Damek. Now I must leave you. You have much work to do as do I also. Remember that if you have need of me, I will always be here.” “Yes. I will remember that.” Damek smoothed the thick mane on the neck of the Lion and bade farewell to the Master. He saw the lovely, sleek female mate of his Lion in the distance and felt it as a sign that he too would soon be with his own mate.

Damek then also bade farewell to the Lion and went in search of more animals. He was excited as they appeared before him, one by one until he would name them all and bless them and their mates for a joyful and fulfilled existence with him in the Garden. Chapter Seven - The Tree in the Garden
