Today gender is a big topic in our society. I just want anyone reading my articles to understand that my feeling about this subject is based on the importance of family. I believe that God created us male and female and gave us the ability to procreate children and build a family bond. Variations of this ideal family unit are happening, not because it’s a choice to do whatever we want to, but because of problems that arise in our lives. To take lightly our being the gender we are born as, is foolish and appears to be ‘playing games with nature’. Who are we, who don’t know anything much about how or why we’re even here, to question nature as it performs what the Creator intended. “Does the clay question the potter who forms it? Why do we reject the gift God gives?
If a person has a problem with their gender, then it shouldn’t be seen as a choice, kind of like choosing which style you like in clothes. If gender switching becomes a fashion, what happens to the moral value of family? Gender confusion is not something anyone should have to deal with, especially children influenced by others ideas of what choice means to them.
Everyone has the right to choose what they want to do regardless of what others think. However, when a value is placed in society about a natural birthing of little boys and little girls; that they can choose which they want to be, this so called freedom has gone too far’. Children aren’t mentally matured enough to make such a decision and they are influenced by adults in everything they learn and experience.
Influencing a child in this way to confuse them about their gender is a form of child abuse and adults should be aware of the suffering and pain this could cause. This false idea of gender freedom could damage a child’s psyche for their entire lifetime.
So, think twice before you encourage your child to explore their gender opportunities. It is an affront against nature itself and what God intended in His creation. Some may also take offense at my calling God, ‘Him’. My own personal belief is that God is a perfect balance of male and female in whatever consciousness or existence He is. We could say, Him/Her or any form we want to use to name the Eternal Creator.
Also, I feel that there are relationships of same gender people who share a loving bond and they have that right to do as they choose. These mature individuals realize that it is not the natural order and they would not influence their children or any other’s children to question their sexual identity. They know it’s a hard road to traverse, going against society’s rules, but felt their love was worth it. This is the difference between a true ‘same sex’ relationship and a crazy fashion that mindless, foolish people are trying to ‘foist’ upon everyone at the expense of their and our children’s mental stability.
