I woke up this morning weak and tired, feeling more thoughts of failure. The enemy seems to work through the night to make the first things I think of as negative. So I give the thoughts and emotions to God and slowly the day begins to change to a better note.
""It’s not me..it’s God! I can’t do it. I wait on Him." He does what He needs to do to get us there. W can act spiritual, meditate all day, go to church and pray endlessly but His peace eludes us. The Kingdom Within is not something we decide to do and mark off a list of accomplishments. It’s giving Him ourselves to remake us and staying out of His way as He does it. We let go of our ideas and let His ideas for us take root.
Everything that is not of Him has to be released and eliminated from our lives before we can enter His Kingdom. All we need to do is surrender to it and be who He made us to be. He doesn’t blame us, judge us or reprimand us, we do that to ourselves.
Every person on this planet is inherently flawed and contaminated with the lies of this world. The job of the Holy Spirit is to empty the world out of us and establish us in His will for our lives. It is painful because we have to feel the negative energies as they are released and confront our selfish ways. The more they are brought up from our inner subconscious, the more we suffer the shame of rejecting God’s love throughout our lives. We think we are righteous and working hard to be a good, spiritual person but we don’t know the enemy is hiding deep within, preventing us from the love and peace of our Lord.
As we remain the controller of our own life, we are keeping God out and interfering in the work of the Holy Spirit. We create a feeling that we are doing good and making our way to Heaven but we can’t enter the Kingdom through good works. “By faith are we saved through faith and not of ourselves, it is the gift of God.”
It is a matter of submitting everything to Him. There’s no point in feeling horrible about it as we review our life through His eyes because we are all guilty. The world is revealing its evil today as never before. Our only safety is our faith in Him as we surrender every aspect of our being to Him so He can re-order us in His image. This is the time to stop playing games with the world and realize that we are on the precipice of a huge paradigm shift.
With God there is only love and with the world there is only hate, confusion and fear. Time to choose which we prefer.
