Chapter Thirteen Cast Out of the Garden
The Master sadly admonished them, “Damek and Neveah, now that you have tasted of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, it is imperative that you leave the Garden for there is also another tree which is the Tree of Life. If you stay here and partake of that tree also you will be left in the realm of your state of shame and suffering for Eternity. The Creator will not have that happen to any of his children. So, although it breaks my heart, I must remove you from this place and cast you down into the lower physical world to learn your lessons there. I cannot go with you but I will be above you, doing what I can to make it better for you when possible. You must try to remember that it is all up to your choices. You will create your own world down there with the results of your own beliefs and intentions. Call on me for help and I will always be there for you as others also will be.
Now it is time for both of you to go to separate places of transition where you will be prepared for your descent. You may not see each other again for a very long time and even when you do, you most likely will not remember each other.” The Master looked as though he was going to continue with more advice but suddenly he disappeared from before them and they were alone.
“Neveah, my beloved, my wife… please forgive me” Tears streamed down both their faces as the impact of their separation became totally realized. By giving up the Garden so he would not lose her love, Damek had lost her entirely for possibly many, many years. They sank to the ground in despair holding tightly to each other in frail hope that something would stop the terrible consequences of their actions. Then Damek felt an emptiness and darkness that he did not believe possible as Neveah was swept from
his embrace by an entity of enormous size who now stood before them with stern chiseled face. In one hand he held aloft a flaming sword that swirled in circles between himself and Neveah. When he spoke it was with a voice of many waters.
“What the Creator has joined together he also can and has separated but not forever. When you rejoin again in the millennia of time, you will again find paradise. But now you are banished from the Garden.” Nevaeh began to fade as a mist and then she disappeared. Damek stood empty and alone before the Cherubim. As he watched, the Cherubim became smaller and fainter as in the distance and then all he could see was the flaming sword circling and then everything was gone.
